Rainforest

Struggling through the big tall trees
I suddenly trip and fall to my knees
Pushing the vines away from my face
I see there are leaves all over the place.

My heart is going thump, thump, thump
While my knees are going jump, jump, jumpexternal image hand.jpg
In my eyes I can see a place to hide
But it’s over a cliff and I can’t really glide.

Rainforest, rainforest come to me rainforest
I can defiantly feel you on my cold damp feet
Rainforest come to me you are so sweet.

My tribe is following me I can’t let them down
The deforestation is killing our crown
I call to them “get into your canoes”
Because these guys will never sue.

Deforestation is on my tribe’s tale
More we run our face goes pale
I can hear the miraculous monkeys they are screaming
They are not happy they see no meaning

Rainforest, rainforest come to me rainforest
I can defiantly feel you on my cold damp feet
Rainforest come to me you are so sweet.
